# Invitations & participants

## Participants table

From this page, view all course participants. The latter are listed in a table, allowing you to easily filter and order it to best manage your participants.

In this table, you'll find a list of course related information, specific to the course participants:

* **Status**:
 * `Invited` status refers to members invited by admins who have not yet started the course.
 * `Started` status refers to members who have started a course, i.e. who have completed at least one step at a given time.
 * `Completed` status designates members who have completed the final (conclusion) step of a course.
* **Step completion**: a column is dedicated to each stage, showing whether the participant has completed that stage.
 * In the case of a Quiz step, the participant's score is also displayed. When the mouse passes over the score, the submission date is displayed.
* **Completion rate**: this is the participant's progress rate, based on the current number of steps in the course.

## Invite participants

In the top right-hand corner, you'll find the `Invite Participants` button, which lets you add members to your live event. You have several options: via Spot members or groups. The members you invite will receive a notification in the Spot as well as an e-mail.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**

If you invite a member who already has an `Invited`, `Started` or `Completed` status on the course, then that participant will not receive an e-mail.
{% endhint %}

You can change the live invitation template to customize the notification received by your members or non-members! Below your audience table, in the side panel for inviting members, you can click on the `View template` button.

### Spot members

This tab gives you access to the complete list of your Spot members. Simply select the members you wish to invite and click on `Invite`. A switch allows you to decide whether or not you wish to send an invitation email to the members concerned.

### Groups

In this tab, you can invite an entire group at once.

* Email notifications: you can choose whether or not to send an invitation email to group members.
* In-app notifications: you can choose whether or not to send an in-app invitation notification to group members.

Please note that these two settings will then apply to all future members of the group. You can update them later from the Groups page in the course settings.

{% hint style="success" %}
Example:

If a group is linked to a course event with both email and in-app notifications disabled, members who join this group in the future will still be invited to the course, but they will receive neither an invitation email nor an in-app notification.
{% endhint %}

## Unenroll course participants

You can unenroll a course participant from the `Participants` tab of the course settings:

* Select at least one participant
* Click on the `Unenroll participants` button in the `Action` menu
* Confirm in the pop-up window

{% hint style="success" %}
You can disenroll any participant from a course, regardless of their status (`Invited`, `Started`, `Completed`).
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
If a participant was enrolled in a course through a learning path, you cannot unenroll them directly from the course. However, unenrolling them from the learning path will also remove them from the course.
{% endhint %}

If a course participant has an `Unenrolled` status :

* The participant is still part of the participant list.
* All completion data prior to his disenrollment remains displayed until he is re-enrolled.
* They no longer have access to the course if it is secret, but can re-enroll themselves if the course is public.
* They can be re-invited to take the course.
