🤝Permissions

Each permission gives specific access and rights. Generally speaking, if a permission gives management rights to a section (Lives, Collections...), a member with a role containing this permission can access the section in question, even if it is disabled.

Create & manage Lives

A member with a role containing the Create & manage lives permission can :

  • Create a live from the New Live button on the Lives page or the Duplicate button on a live's card.

  • Edit a live from the Settings buttons. He can modify all the characteristics of the live: confidentiality, video settings, liveroom settings, participant management and notifications. He can also delete the live.

  • See the dashboard in the liveroom (the tables don't show the email column and are filtered on members with an Accepted status). He can also send a bulk message.

  • Manage live participants (tables do not show the email column and are filtered on members with an Accepted status):

    • Invite Spot members and groups to the live event via the Invite participants button (with or without email notifications).

    • Uninvite members by selecting them in the participants list.

    • Send a bulk message to participants of your choice.

  • Manage groups invited to live events

  • Manage live speakers (tables do not show the email column and are filtered on members with an Accepted status):

    • Invite Spot members as live speakers via the Invite speakers button (with or without email notifications).

    • Grant host rights and highlight the speaker.

    • Send bulk messages to speakers of your choice.

Please note that for this permission, there are 2 possible options that impact the lives for which the member will have these rights:

  • Live creation is possible regardless of the option selected.

  • For lives management, depending on the option selected, the member will not necessarily be able to manage all the Spot's lives (for more information, see here).

A member with a role containing the Create & manage courses permission can :

  • Create a course from the New button on the Courses page.

  • Course creation is possible regardless of the option selected.

A member with a role that includes the permission to Invite Members to Join the Spot can:
