Tag your content to organize it by category

On MeltingSpot, you can assign tags to different content in your Spot such as lives, collection documents (links and pages) and Spot members. This makes it easy to find and organize your content across pages, allowing members to filter content based on relevant tags, making it more accessible.
Warning! Tags are different from groups!
Groups allow you to segment your audience and manage access to your Spot's various resources. They only apply to members, and only admins can create and use them.
Tags allow you to organize resources and facilitate searches within the Spot. They can be applied to all resources as well as to members. Only admins can create them, but all members can see them!
From the Spot Settings > Tags, click the Create Tag
button to create a new tag.
From here a modal will appear where you can enter a name for the tag and choose a suitable icon, then click Save
to create the tag.
After creation, the new tag will be added to the list.
If you want to change the name or an icon of an existing tag, you can do it from the Spot Settings > Tags page.
Just click on the line of the tag in question or you can hover over the tag and an edit icon will appear. Click on the edit
icon to enter the edit mode for that tag.
Edit the name and/or the icon of the tag, then Save
.
If you want to delete an existing tag, you can do so from the Spot Settings > Tags page.
Just click on the delete
icon that appears when you hover over the tag or on the Delete Tag
button in the tag editing mode. If the tag is assigned to at least one content on your Spot, a confirmation modal opens to confirm the action.
When a tag is deleted, it no longer appears in the tag list and is also removed from all content it was previously assigned to.
If you want to reorder the tags in the list of filters and settings on the different pages, you can do so by dragging and dropping them from the Spot Settings > Tags. This will allow you to move and reorder them according to their priority.
In the tag list in Spot Settings > Tags, you can see the number of resources to which a tag is assigned.
You can assign a tag to a resource in your Spot. To do this, see the corresponding pages:
