# Live room settings

In this part of the menu, you will be able to decide whether or not to display the chat and the list of participants connected to your Live.

* The **chat** allows you to have a discussion space associated with the Live. If you activate it, all participants will be able to chat together. On the other hand, if you decide not to activate it, only the speakers will have access to their private discussion.
* The **list of participants** allows everyone to see which members have registered for the live event. If you decide to hide it, only the admins will see who has registered and who is participating.
