Displaying the widget Many members of your site or application will be able to access your widget. Don't worry, they will only see the course if they have access to it. To access a document, you need to : The member is logged in The member has access to the collection containing the document (either because the collection is public, or because it is private, but the member is invited to the collection). The document is published (unless the member is an admin or has ‘manage & create collections’ permission). If a member displays the document widget and has access to it, the corresponding activity will be taken into account and you will be able to find it in the Dashboard page of your Spot settings. To ensure that the user sees the widget content while logged in, we recommend that you set up SSO authentication in the widget integration space. Once SSO has been configured, the JWT token authenticating the user can be transmitted directly in the widget script. Find out more here. Deleting a widget There are 2 ways of deleting a widget: From the widget card, by clicking on the three small dots to the right and then on Delete. From a widget's side edit panel, by clicking on the three little dots at the top right and then on Delete. When you click on one of these two buttons, a confirmation window opens. Please note that all deletions are final! If you delete a widget in your Spot settings, we recommend that you also delete it in the code of your application or site - don't worry if you forget, your members will only see an empty insert 😉
