MeltingSpot allows you to create three types of "Live sessions"

External capture: use a professional video maker/producer or your own streaming software and simply retrieve the live stream from Vimeo or Youtube to add on MeltingSpot. In this case, choose the "Source" = YouTube or = Vimeo, and fill in the corresponding URL.

The MeltingSpot Studio

During the configuration of your session, in the "Streaming and live video" step, you have selected as "Source" = MeltingSpot Studio

MeltingSpot's studio allows you to set up 2 types of live sessions:

Keynote mode Attendees can view and watch the live session, however only the speakers linked to the session can activate their camera/micro. It is not possible to invite a participant to speak, but they can do so in writing via the session chat.
Workshop mode All attendees can activate their camera/microphone. An ideal format for more collaborative sessions ! ${color}[#d00b0b](The maximum number of participants is 200.)

How to access the conference studio * Restream

Accepted Answer

You have been invited to speak on a live session taking place in the Restream conference studio.

Here are the steps to follow:

go to the studio access link provided by the organizer
step 1: fill in your email address, then click on "Pair your channel
step 2 : click on "or continue without adding channels".
authorize camera and microphone, indicate your first name and click on "Join stream".
you are in the waiting room, your host will welcome you

D-Day

Check your connection one hour before your visit to avoid unpleasant surprises (prefer google chrome)
Sit in a quiet place, in front of a white wall and the camera facing your eyes (not in a bird's eye view).
Make sure that nothing too private appears on the screen (family photo at the beach, pile of files..). Participants should be able to focus on you and your presentation only.
When speaking, try to stand upright or adopt a dynamic and open posture whenever possible.
