At MeltingSpot, it all begins with a Spot, a digital space where you will gather and grow your community.

Creating a Spot

To create a Spot, simply click either :

• on the + icon in the left sidebar of the application.

• on the Create a Spot button in the navigation bar from the application's homepage.

Then, let yourself be guided through the different steps of creation. There are 7 steps: the first 3 allow us to better understand your needs, then the real creation of your Spot begins.

Choose your features

In this part, you can define the features you wish to integrate into your Spot! You will be able to come back to them at any time from your Spot's settings.

Step 3: Select features

Spot Confidentiality: Your Choice

When it comes to the confidentiality of your Spot, you have two options: either Public or Private.

• If your Spot is Public: anyone with the Spot's URL will be able to join it.

• If your Spot is Private: new registrations will require validation by an Admin unless the member has been invited beforehand.

Step 4: Privacy settings

Name your Spot

Here you can choose what you want to call your Spot.

Step 5: Spot name

Introduce yourself

This step allows us to learn a bit more about you.

Step 6: About you

Create your account or login

If you don't have an account on the MeltingSpot platform yet, enter your email address and pick a password.

If you already have an account, click on “I already have an account” to log in!

Create a user account

And there you have it! Your Spot is created! 🥳
