Create forums and discussion topics to gradually build up a knowledge base for yourself and your members.

Create a new forum

You can create a forum directly from the Add button on the right-hand side of the Channels menu, or from the Manage Spot shortcut.

A side panel appears, allowing you to set up the forum:

1. Select the Forum button.

2. Choose an icon (optional), a name (mandatory) and a description (optional).

3. Click Create: that's it, your forum is created! 👏

Forum settings

As an admin, you can access the forum settings by clicking on the ✏️ button to the right of the forum title.

A side window opens, displaying the forum details window, which lets you change the forum name, icon and description.

Once you create the forum, you won't be able to turn a forum into a channel and vice versa.

Click on the Save button at the bottom right of your editing window to make them effective. You can modify them again at any time by following the same procedure!

Deleting a forum

As an admin, you can delete a forum by accessing its settings. To do so, click on the ✏️ button to the right of the forum title.

A drawer opens, displaying the forum details editing window. You can delete the forum by clicking on the Delete forum button. Finally, you must confirm the deleted action of the forum in the confirmation window.

All delete action are final! You will not be able to retrieve the forum or its topics.
