Since when are analytics available?

Since Sep 27, MeltingSpot lets you track participants to your lives (live or replay).

Any live hosted prior to that date will not support analytics

Where can I access live metrics?

  • From your live page, you can access all your metrics by clicking the Dashboard icon in the bottom right hand corner

  • The overall Dashboard menu call also be accessed directly from the Manage Spot drop down menu in the top right hand corner

How often is data updated?

Metrics are updated in near real time, every 20mn

Live date

Date the live was scheduled by the admin

Status

  • Upcoming: live hasn't started yet

  • Live: live is currently "on air"

  • Completed: live is over

Solution

The video solution selected for this particular live (built-in studio / Vimeo live / YouTube live)

Type

  • "Workshop": built-in studio in workshop mode (all participants can share their audio and camera)

  • "Conference": built-in studio in conference mode (only speakers can share their audio and camera), or Vimeo or YouTube live

  • Empty field: live was scheduled with no video (In Real Life event for example)

Recording

This column shows whether or not the live was recorded.

With any video solution but "built-in studio", the field will be empty.

Replay

This column shows whether or not replay is available for this live.

With any video solution but "built-in studio", the field will be empty.

Average watch time

Average watch time across all participants (taking into account live participants, or replay viewers).

It is derived from the total viewing time divided by the number of viewers (live and replay).

No show

This number is defined by the number of registrants to the Live that actually never viewed it (live or replay).

It boils down to the number of registrants minus unique viewers (live or replay).

Replays

This number is defined by the number of participants who viewed all (or part) of the Live after it was completed.
